The healing process of microblading, shading or combo brows lasts 4 to 6 weeks. After this period you will see the outcome. The eyebrows will take their final shape and color after the pigment sets in and the skin heals completely.
The healing period is an emotional roller coaster. There will be moments when you will think that the color is wrong and that you didn’t get what you wanted. It will also be hard to resist scratching and picking the scabs. You might freak out when you wake up one morning and realize your brows are gone. But it is completely normal because pigment resurface after the scabs fall out. The healing process requires lots of patience and discipline, it will definitely be worth it, but you have to trust the artist.
It is important to know that not everybody heals the same, some people might not even scab, and recover quickly than others, while other people need as long as 6 weeks for their skin to heal completely. Recovery results depend on several factors like, age, skin type and overall health.
The first three days are the darkest days, where your eyebrows look darker, by days four and five those little scabs start to fall off and by days seven and eight you can actually see the result underneath. It’s about 50 to 75 percent lighter than the day one eyebrows. The look fades significantly.
